Reflecting elevated self-discovery, Lucy Peveto’s compositions define uplifting moments and true transformations. Her central theme is about change, and, like the butterfly, leads to greater life possibilities. She graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2002. Entering her second career as a visual artist, she decided to “let it fly” and granted herself the permission to evolve.

Her work was featured at Art to the Power of Ten 2013 & 2014, sponsored by McNay Contemporary Collectors Forum, McNay Art Museum; Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum Red Dot 2013 & 2014; AnArte Gallery Touch The Sun, Kiss The Sky (solo exhibition) and in other group exhibits in San Antonio Texas galleries including: Bright Shawl Gallery, Highwire, Japanese Tea Gardens, Southwest School of Art. Other group shows include Lubbock's Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts and Kerville's Schreiner University.

Public and corporate collections include: University Health System (Sky Tower, San Antonio, Texas), University of Texas at San Antonio, University of the Incarnate Word, The Junior League of San Antonio, La Cantera Resort (San Antonio, Texas), GFR Development Services and the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Peveto’s work was featured in a solo show by Neiman Marcus in Spring of 2016.

Peveto says her favorite aspect about her personal transformation from attorney to artist is spending more time with her family and enjoying God’s gifts.
